Ranbir Kapoor’s stammering acting is a front and backdrop of Musical Jagga Jasoos.

“I want to write and feel the drama, Music is essentially an emotional language so you want to feel something from the relationship and make music based on those feelings” – Howard Shores

Two Negatives make a positive and Two badlucks’ make a good luck for Jagga (Ranbir Kapoor) in the movie

The peace spreading attempt with a strong message in the end covers international ongoing issues including Palestine, Kashmir conflict, Syria and Iraq etc. After 3 years of interrupted shooting Anurag Basu made an adventurous journey of Hindi musical Jagga Jasoos with over 25 songs, however Katrina’s narration to kids livens up upon the Pritam’s music and Ranbir’s mystery solving stories the supporting lady Shruti played by Katrina Kaif meanwhile has a straight character who is an investigative journalist working on a case of illegal arms trading, her unintentional moves helps Jagga to find his foster father. Ranbir’s innocent romance with Katrina is both charming and beautiful, whereas he is unquestionably the biggest strength of the film his stammering will make you laugh time to time to keep you going for its nearly 3 hours adventure story.

There’s a  lot packed in here, to underline the important aspect, the film dwells on the dynamic of teenager’s detective skills and comes back on track in second half when they focus on 95’s espionage operation going wrong and a pursuit of the world’s most dreaded weapons smuggling.

At last, you’ll pursue what you love is the take away from this film, Jagga Jasoos may not be appreciated by all it has its bright and dark but it’s a courageous and confident musical attempt by Anurag Basu, powerd by Ranbir’s as always stunning performance and Pritam’s music.

Let’s see if it was a Galtise Mistake!
